Dr. Molly Paul is an Analytical Chemist and Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Chemical and Isotopic Mass Spectrometry Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She is supervised by Dr. Ben Manard. Although her research applications span a variety of disciplines, her current focus is analytical advancement in single particle ICP-MS.

Molly attended graduate school at Boise State University where she studied geochronology and geochemistry under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Schmitz in the Isotope Geology Laboratory. She was focused on understanding the relationship between alkali magmatism, metasomatism, and tectonic processes as drivers of thermal and chemical stabilization and alteration of Archean sub-continental lithospheric mantle. The geologically-driven application and analytical advancement of high-precision techniques is a theme throughout her research experiences.
