Bio
Mary grew up in Knoxville, TN and attended Tennessee Technological University to obtain bachelor degrees in French and International Business, with a minor in History. During her time, she spent a semester studying abroad in Chambéry, France. Mary joined ORNL as the Group Administrative Assistant supporting the Chemical Separations Group and Surface Chemistry and Catalysis Group in the Chemical Sciences Division in May 2024. She additionally supports the Chemical Transformations Section Head and the Chemical Dynamics Group. She enjoys learning about different cultures, languages, and countries, and is passionate about thorough communication, attention to detail, and efficiency.
Professional Experience
Mary spent the three years before starting at ORNL working for a mechanical contracting company doing Accounts Payable and many administrative duties to keep the office organized, stocked, and operations running smoothly.
