As an ecohydrologist, I'm interested in the intersections between the physical and biological processes that shape how ecosystems function. From the smallest roots in the soil, images taken by satellites far above the earth, to computational models, I utilize multiple tools to answer questions of how different functional strategies impact forests over different timescales. I am currently a postdoctoral research associate with the NGEE-Tropics project, examining feedbacks between nutrients and tropical forests with the FATES model.
