Post-doctoral Research Associate
Dr. Junyi Liang is a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Environmental Sciences Division and the Climate Change Science Institute. He received his Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Oklahoma. He studies biogeochemical and ecological responses to environmental changes, using both experimental and modeling approaches. His research interests include soil carbon dynamics, vegetation-microbe interactions, data-driven modeling, data-model integration, impacts of extreme events, and offsite environmental impacts of managed system. He uses advanced observational and computational technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) to address ecological issues.
