Post-doctoral Research Associate
Dr. Junyi Liang is a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Environmental Sciences Division and the Climate Change Science Institute. He studies biogeochemical and ecological responses to environmental changes, using both experimental and modeling approaches. His research interests include soil carbon dynamics, vegetation-microbe interactions, data-driven modeling, data-model integration, ecosystem fragmentation, and extreme events. He uses advanced observational and computational technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) to address ecological issues.
