Jayde A Aufrecht

Bio

Jayde Aufrecht is a Bredesen Center Fellow and PhD candidate in the Energy Science and Engineering program at the University of Tennessee. She received her B.Eng. In Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2014 and her Masters in Science in Environmental Engineering in 2017 from The University of Tennessee.  She is interested in using “Lab-on-a-chip” technology to study the physical interaction between beneficial bacteria and plant roots for applications in sustainable agriculture and climate change adaptation.
