Heather Hooks supports the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division of the National Security Science Directorate for Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Heather holds a degree in business and office management and obtained the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence. She has years of experience in various administrative roles, including administrative support for executives and high-level management. Previously, she worked for Discovery, Inc. and Scripps Networks Interactive as the Research Coordinator for their lifestyle brands, HGTV, DIY Network, and Great American Country. She was also the Administrative Assistant and managed the Oak Ridge Branch office of the former Aspen Systems Corporation, an Information Management Company focusing on Engineering and Environmental Consultation. Heather began her career at ORAU/ORISE as a cooperative education student.
