Areas of Expertise: Qualitative research, qualitative GIS, cultural/social dynamics, geopolitics and media

Hannah Gunderman is a 4th year PhD student in Geography at the University of Tennessee and conducts research at ORNL involving structural building characteristics, fallout protection, and data harmonization. She has worked as a summer HERE intern since May 2015 and transitioned to an ASTRO appointment as of September 2015, where she remains currently. She received her Bachelors Degree in Geography/Natural Resource Management and her Masters in Geography/Environmental and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. Her research experience includes qualitative data analysis, GIS, ethnography, and cultural geography.
