Greg J Stark

Mass Spectrometry Chemist – R&D Associate

Greg Stark is a Mass Spectrometry Chemist – R&D Associate in the Chemical & Isotopic Mass Spectrometry (CIMS) Group at ORNL. He earned his Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Wyoming in 2026, where his research focused on isotope geochemistry and continental volcanism. As part of his Ph.D. research, he utilized a Thermo Fisher Neptune Plus MC-ICP-MS for high-precision analysis of uranium series nuclides and radiogenic isotopes. At ORNL, he conducts isotope ratio and dilution measurements in support of nuclear security, non-proliferation, and forensics missions.
