Bio
Dr. Deepak Pokkalla is a postdoctoral research associate in Digital Manufacturing and Analyses Framework group at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility (MDF), ORNL. Dr. Deepak has extensive experience in developing isogeometric finite element methods, designing materials and structures through optimization algorithms, and numerical analysis of multi-physics problems. He is currently working on structural design optimization using machine learning and developing novel material systems through advanced manufacturing for various applications.
