Courtney L. Walton received her Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2019. She worked under the supervision of Jacob T. Shelley, where she focused on development of a solution-cathode glow discharge as an atmospheric pressure ionization source for mass spectrometry. Currently she works with Dr. Jack Cahill and Dr. Vilmos Kertesz on in situ-liquid liquid extraction mass spectrometry imaging for microbial and plant systems.
