Bio
Dr. Bourgery earned his PhD in Biocatalysis from URD ABI – AgroParisTech (France) in 2023, where he worked at the interface of chemical and biological engineering to develop new tools for advancing biocatalysis, with a particular focus on cofactor accessibility and recycling. Part of his doctoral research was conducted at BioPRIA (Bioresource Processing Institute of Australia), Monash University.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate working on the discovery, enzyme engineering, and process engineering of biocatalytic systems for polymer remanufacturing, with a strong emphasis on polyamides.
