Dr. Brenda Pracheil is a Research and Development Staff Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and an Associate Editor of Methods in Ecology and Evolution. She received B.S. and B.A. degrees in Biological Sciences and Philosophy and a Ph.D.in Natural Resources from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a M.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University, and conducted postdoctoral studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her current work primarily broadly focuses on environmental sustainability of hydropower and aquatic conservation as well as calcium carbonate biomineralization.
