Electrodynamic Scalar Wave Transmission and Reception

UT-Battelle, LLC, acting under its Prime Contract No. DE-AC05-00OR22725 with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for the management and operation of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), is seeking a commercialization partner for the Electrodynamic Scalar Wave Generation and Detection technology.

The invention relates to electromagnetic communications. The disclosure teaches (1) a theoretical basis for a scalar electrodynamic wave on the basis of published theorems; (2) a wave equation for the scalar wave on the basis of the author’s published work; and (3) a concept for transmission and reception of the scalar wave.

Stage of Development: Modeled Concept

License applications will be evaluated based on prospective partners' ability and commitment to successfully commercialize the technology, with a preference for United States based businesses and small businesses.
