Abstract

Where do you publish research on the aerodynamics of eyelashes? The New York Times, The Economist, Cosmopolitan, and Saturday Night Live, of course! In this talk, I will show how to be an effective teacher to audiences across the world, using newspaper, magazines, radio, and film. Particular attention will be paid to the use of photographs, explanations, and humor to convey your message efficiently. I will also teach how to prepare an online press kit for reporters, which can accommodate the rapid press cycle.
