Employee Resource Groups

There are various ORNL employee resource groups composed of voluntary members. They play an important role in raising diversity awareness by sponsoring campus-wide events in celebration of national heritage and history months. Also, they may have a part in the lab's recruiting efforts. Any employee can apply to any of the working groups - they are not reserved for a particular group or culture. They are designed to promote understanding within our ORNL environment.

Employee resource groups at the Laboratory include the following:

  • African American Affinity Resource Committee (AAARC)
  • Asian Pacific American Committee (APAC)
  • Committee for Women (CFW)
  • Early Career Professionals (ECP)
  • Flying Solo
  • Gay, Lesbian, or Bisexual Employees (GLOBE)
  • Hispanic/Latino American Committee (HLAC)
  • Living Well with Chronic Conditions Association (LWCCA)
  • Veterans Committee
