Celebrating the 1000th Transportation Analysis Fact of the Week
Stacy Davis in Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Energy and Transportation Science Division produces the Fact of the Week for the Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO), an activity she has led since 2001. This week, VTO posted Fact #1,000. The Transportation Analysis Fact of the Week was first produced in 1996 and has continued as a way of highlighting trends in transportation data. A recent report highlights the most popular themes featured as Facts over the years, including vehicle fuel economy, petroleum use and production, vehicle sales, and traveler behavior. Facts are posted weekly on the VTO website and shared via email with more than 8,000 subscribers.
