Announcement
The Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the User Executive Committee (UEC) are pleased to announce the 2023 CNMS User Meeting will be held in person from August 7-11, 2023. Please join us in person at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville for the opportunity to highlight research areas and exchange ideas -- bringing together leading researchers, junior scientists, postdocs, and students. To register for the meeting and submit a poster abstract visit the 2023 CNMS User Meeting Website. Registration closes June 12, 2023, and poster abstracts are due by June 23, 2023.

- User Group Town-Hall Meeting with the CNMS UEC: provides opportunities for the user community at large to provide additional input on facility operations that affect users.
- Poster Session: students, postdocs, and users are encouraged to participate and present the results of their research and share their experiences at the user facilities. Poster presented by graduate and undergraduate students will also be eligible to compete for the Best Student Presentation award given at the town hall meetings.
- CNMS Tour - A bus will be available on Wednesday afternoon to transport participants from the Crown Plaza to the CNMS and back following the conclusion of the meeting for a tour of the CNMS. Sign up is required and should be done at the time of registration.
