We have run numerous workshops, produced multimedia educational CDs, and hosted Web events. The Office of University and Science Education has run the Appalachian Regional Commission Summer Institute for K-12 teacher for 6 years as well as participating in the Department of Energy’s Adventures in Supercomputing and Science Bowl.

This February we produced a WWW event where we built and tested a straw bale wall live on the Internet.
