Our module will use buildings technology research, namely testing for resistance to heat flow or the R-value in walls and ceilings. We believe this will have a broad appeal. The physics of conduction, convection, reflection and the contact with research scientists will engage college minded students and the concept of making a comfortable living space will attract others who are more interested in the industrial application of science.
