Data System Architectures for National Security


DSSE provides research into emerging data architectures and processing methods for scientific, defense, and security applications with special requirements for linking real-time systems and heterogeneous databases. DSSE has cultivated long-term relationships with a variety of sponsors across the military, intelligence community, and other federal agencies resulting in leading-edge data systems architectures research and development to increase national security.

SCIPUFF Server
— Provide on-demand hazard prediction and consequence assessment for chemical, biological, and radiological events and releases.

LandScan Server
— Provide on-demand population counts for specified polygon area.

Facility Analysis and Chemical Tiering System (FACTS)
— Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT) collects directly from chemical facilities, refineries, and LNG facilities information that must be analyzed to support chemical security regulation.
