Population Infrastructure Dependency


Pursuing research to understand the interdependencies of population distribution and critical infrastructures utilizing modeling and simulation are employed to investigate and analyze population as related to transportation networks, population movements to and from key locations such as schools, hospitals, day-care and others to assess vulnerabilities to both population mobility and critical infrastructure operations under a variety of scenarios.

Transportation Routing Analysis
— To assess the optimal (cost, time, and risk based) path through the national transportation networks (road, rail, and waterway) for shipments of radioactive or hazardous materials and other commodities.
