Hazard Prediction and Analysis Capability (HPAC-MB)June 13, 2013
- Develop and enhance HPAC’s Nuclear Facility Accident (NFAC) model to represent to represent a range of accident scenarios and source terms. Support predictive and forensic analysis of nuclear accidents. Provide libraries for interfacing to and managing LandScan data for population counting within HPAC.
- Implement server and client Java components within the HPAC component architecture and framework. Maintain a database of facilities and reactor inventories. Implement high performing population counting components in C/C++.
- ORNL established as DTRA’s reference for nuclear facility accidents. Familiarity with HPAC architecture allowing integration of other codes (e.g., VISAC) within HPAC and vice-versa.
