An online discussion group on the topic of mutation detection was started in 1996 by G.R. Taylor. Intended topics include mutation detection methods and applications, and relevant meetings, abstracts, product information, etc. The initial topic of discussion was the use of enzyme mismatch cleavage for detecting point mutations, which was followed by responses and queries regarding use of this and other techniques.
