| ICE - Functional Modules ICE (Intermixed Cross Sections Effortlessly) is a cross-section mixing code that will accept cross secctions from an AMPX working library and produce mixed cross sections in four formats: (1) AMPX working library format, (2) ANISN format, (3) group-independent ANISN format, and (4) the Monte Carlo processed cross-section library format. User input is in the free-form or fixed-form FIDO structure, described in Sect. M10 of the SCALE Manual. The code was developed to allow efficient mixing with minimum user effort and with reduced core storage requirements. The code is also operable as a module in the AMPX system. The SCALE version of ICE is the latest in a series of versions of the program. In SCALE, ICE is used exclusively to prepared mixed cross-section libraries for use in Monte Carlo programs; in SAS3, it produces a library for MORSE-SGC, and in CSASI and CSASIX it produces a library for KENO-V.a.
