Description Of Wall
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) has been around for over 70 years. AAC was invented in Sweden in 1923 by Johan Axel Eriksson. The AAC technology was adopted in Germany in 1940. After WW II, AAC has been used extensively in Central Europe and Asia.
The Trustone wall was constructed during October, 1996 under the subcontract between IBACOS and Kelbran Inc. During the first week of December, 1996, the wall was finished (latex stucco on the outside and plaster on the inside) by the IBACOS team.
The TRUSTONE AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) wall system is based on solid blocks (7 3/4 x 24 ½ x 9 3/4-in.) are made of lightweight cellular concrete of density about 31 lb/ft3. The TRUSTONE blocks are joined using 1/8-in. thick mortar.
