The RMAL has a variety of analytical capabilities for the analysis of metals and isotopics. All of the analytical equipment is either located in a radiochemical hood or is modified to interface with a hood system for the analysis of radioactive samples. Ion Chromatography and Carbon Analysis

The RMAL has a Dionex 4500i ion chromatograph with multiple detectors for the analysis of a large number of anionic and cationic elements and compounds. The RMAL can provide a number of miscellaneous and physical measurements from pH and conductivity to special benchtop tests or pilot testing projects.
