Research Interests:

Dr. Adrian Sabau received his Diploma of Mechanical and Materials Science Engineer from the University of Craiova, Romania and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1996.

Dr. Sabau developed constitutive equations, solution algorithms, and software implementations for the numerical simulation of material properties and materials processing. He has eighteen years of experience in development of numerical algorithms for partial differential equations in the general area of Computational Physics including Fluid Dynamics, Phase Transformations, and Energy Transport at Nano-scale. His research seeks to advance materials and materials processing through synergy among property measurement, computational analysis, and experimental research.
