Research Interests:

Bart Murphy processes samples under high magnetic fields. He specializes in handling cryogenic liquids and 3D modeling. Bart also spends a lot of time designing sample delivery systems, quench systems, and sample mounts. He is fluent with most software programs used at the lab, but can operate almost all.

Bart has an A.A.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering technology and received the John C. Mauer Mechanical Engineering Award of Excellence from Pellissippi State this past spring. This fall Bart will begin studies for his bachelor’s degree at ETSU.
