Research Interests:

Dr. Montgomery received his Ph.D from the University of Rochester in Physical Organic Chemistry in 1971. He has over 25 years of research and development experience in material science and chemical processing.

His research interests include tritium recovery from materials and tritium interactions with materials, chemical reactions and irradiation performance of ceramic nuclear fuels, preparation of high temperature ceramics by sol-gel methods, radiation chemistry, high temperature ceramic superconductors by sol-gel methods, and chemiluminescence and photolysis of organic compounds.
