Research Interests:

David Harper is the lead technician on the plasma arc lamp, and operates the extrusion press, vacuum furnace, and rolling mill in the MPG.

His Training and Education are RWT, Labview, Vortek, robot script programming & operations, and programming, operation, & maintenance of 300kw and 750 kw Plasma Lamps.

His Research areas are Rapid thermal annealing of FePt nanoparticle solutions, infrared processing of metals and ceramics, infrared processing of spray coating, infrared processing of TiAl sheet, and rolling and processing of IR.
