Rita Ayers is the administrative assistant to the members and leader of the Processing & Joining Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Before coming to ORNL, she worked 2 years for Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) as a Program Specialist and 9 years for the University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Service as the administrative assistant in the Roane County Office. Rita received her Certified Professional Secretary (CPS®) certification in 2002, recertified in 2005 and again in 2011. Rita served two years as Oak Ridge Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP®) treasurer and was Chapter President during 2009-2010. She is also a member of the Pellissippi State Community College Advisory Committee for Business and Computer Technology.
