Heat and Water Recovery from Exhaust Streams Using Inorganic Membranes
|
| |
A large portion of energy loss in industrial processes is from the release of steam to the atmosphere. By condensing the water and recovering the heat of condensation, not only can one recover high quality pure water for re-use but also recover valuable heat loss that cannot be recovered by conventional heat exchangers. This technology can be used for boilers, lime kilns, paper dryers or any other process where the exhaust stream contains more than 10% water vapor. |
