Research Interests:
Characterization and modeling of deformation and failure mechanisms in irradiated materials; constitutive equations for localized deformation with irradiation hardening or softening; high temperature mechanical properties of metallic materials (irradiation effects in refractory metals for fusion and fission applications); characterization of mechanical properties of silicon carbide, graphite, and other ceramic materials for nuclear applications; small specimen test techniques and non-destructive mechanical property evaluation (indentation testing).
