| Purpose
| The workshop will explore realizable concepts for the
insertion of OI technology in high performance computing. Both integration and system OI
concepts will be discussed in the context of the challenges facing present high
performance computing architectures and semiconductor manufacturers. |

identification of viable next steps for DOE OI research and development to maximally
impact high performance computing platforms. |
