Package Certification Assurance
ORNL has been preparing Safety Analysis Reports on Packagings (SARPs) and
interacting with the appropriate federal certifying officials to obtain the proper
approvals for the package in question since the process was instituted. Dozens of
radioactive material packages have been certified and placed in service over the years.
