Twin ebulliometer
Twin ebulliometer measures vapor pressures up to 2036 mm Hg

Twin ebulliometer measures vapor pressure of liquid-phase samples for pure compounds and components of narrow boiling point mixtures at high pressures:

-green.jpg (694 bytes) Pressure range: 10 - 2036 mm Hg
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Temp range: Ambient - 675 K
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Accuracy: +/-0.02% pressure; +/-0.002 K
    temp

The equipment is capable of measuring the bubble point and condensation temperatures of both the sample and standard.

The Physical Properties Research Facility provides precision vapor pressure measurements of pure components and components of narrow boiling point mixtures over an extremely wide range of pressures and temperatures (15 to 2036 mm Hg, ambient to 650 K).

Torsion-effusion equipment precisely measures vapor pressure of solid- and liquid-phase samples for pure compounds at low pressures:

-green.jpg (694 bytes) Pressure range: 0.001 - 0.1 mm Hg
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Temp range: Ambient - 400 K
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Accuracy: +/-0.02% pressure; +/-0.001 K temp

Compounds can be purified in house to a minimum purity level of 99.9 mol % to meet rigid sample quality for high precision vapor pressure analysis.

Torsion effluent equipment
Torsion effusion equipment measures vapor pressure at very low pressures.

Inclined-piston equipment determines vapor pressure of solid- and liquid-phase samples for pure compounds at intermediate pressures:

-green.jpg (694 bytes) Pressure range: 0.1 - 30 mm Hg
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Temp range: Ambient - 675 K
-green.jpg (694 bytes) Accuracy: +/-0.02% pressure; +/-0.002 K temp

This typically compares to +/- 5% for most commercially available equipment.
