Fifteen of the ORNL experimental
facilities are officially designated "user facilities." This designation
facilitates use by researchers from universities, industries, and other government
laboratories. Research is accomplished through industrial funding for PPRF staff to perform specific research, collaborative research with the U.S. Department of Energy, and staff exchange. Proprietary research can also be performed. The Office of Science and Technology Partnership coordinates access to the user facilities. |
