Academic and Industrial Partners

Academic collaborations in the surface sampling and imaging programs allow the benefit of complementary backgrounds to yield new research challenges,samples, and researchers. Coorporate partnership spans the range from formalized Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) and Work for Others (WFOs) projects to simple scientific collaborations. The program benefits from the supply of direct funding, new research challenges, samples, and loaned or donated instruments from these partners.
