                        Gage Block Calibration

The ORNL Metrology Laboratory maintains a wide range of dimensional calibration and inspection capabilities.  The ORNL Metrology Laboratory provides NVLAP-accredited calibrations for gauge blocks (up to 4 inches), micrometers and calipers (up to 12 inches), thread wires, ring gauges, plug gauges, and thread plug gauges.  The ORNL Metrology Laboratory can also provide a wide range of non-accredited, but fully-NIST-traceable calibrations and inspection services for the following:
