LandScan Account and Authorization

OBTAIN username & password Using the same email address that you used on the LandScan registration form, register in XCAMS for an XCAMS username and password.

Already Have an Xcams Acoount? If you already have an active XCAMS account, send an email with your Xcams USERNAME to LandScanRegister@ornl.gov. Do NOT send your password. Xcams passwords are good for six (6) months. If you need to update your Xcams password or you have forgotten your Xcams password, click here. Once you have updated/renewed your account, please send an email containing your Xcams USERNAME to LandScanRegister@ornl.gov.

Approval

After completing the XCAMS registration, the XCAMS system will send you an email requiring you to activate your account. Once your account is activated it will be routed to the LandScan team for approval. We approve all accounts at the end of the business day (US Eastern Time 5:00 pm). Any requests submitted after that time will be approved the next business day. 

For returning users: the current LandScan data sets are available at a new location. Please delete any bookmarks you may have for the previous download site.

If you do not have access to the LandScan data sets after receiving an email from XCAMS stating that your request has been approved, please contact landscanregister@ornl.gov for assistance.
