  Tim Gee
 
Timothy Gee has worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Image Science and Machine Vision Group, R&D Staff, 7/98-Present. Selected software design projects: Automated Maritime Video Surveillance, Surveillance Video Restoration, Face Recognition From Video, Fingerprint Analysis, Semiconductor Wafer Pattern Recognition, Lumber Moisture Content Estimation.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Real-Time Systems Group, R&D Staff, 12/93-7/98. Selected projects: Real-time Digital Sonar Array Processing (Integrated software of eight-member development team and wrote software to produce top-level real-time procedure running on 18 Gflop Cray supercomputer), Waveform Generator for Army Mass Spectrometer (DSP software and VHDL firmware), Data Handling Electronics for Physics Detector (VHDL firmware and digital hardware).

Georgia Tech Research Institute, Artificial Intelligence Group, 1/3-time Research Assistant, 9-92-12/93. Software design projects included: Neural Network Computer Vision for Surface Mount Technology, Road-finding for Autonomous Vehicle Research.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Telerobotic Systems Section, Co-op Student. Six quarters, 1/89-9/92. Projects included: Real-time Image Compression/Decompression (created result simulation system and compression system using Datacube VME hardware), Laser-based Robot Tracking (helped formulate concept which received patent).
