Research Experience and Interests
Ms. Sylvester joined the Geographic Information and Science Technology Group (GIST) in October 2009. She is currently working on the LandScan project and assists other projects through imagery analysis and data collection.
While at Purdue University, Linda worked on several projects including a field study investigating wetland hydrology and function. Her work at the University of Michigan - Dearborn included groundwater collection and analysis.
Linda is interested in using GIS and remote sensing for various applications including analysis and management of natural resources.
