Research Experience and Interests
Dilip Reddy Patlolla joined the Geographic Information Science and Technology group at ORNL in February 2012. His current responsibilities include optimizing algorithms and porting them to GPU Hardware.
Prior to joining the GIST group, Dilip was working as R & D Staff in the Imaging Signals and Machine Vision Group in MSSE Div. He has previously worked as an Electrical Engineer in the Electronics R & D group at Siemens Healthcare, where he was part of a team working on projects involving GPU, FPGA design and Embedded Software.
Dilip’s areas of expertise include porting algorithms to GPU and FPGAs, Algorithm and Software Development.
