Research Experience and Interests
Mrs. Moehl joined the Geographic Information Science and Technology group in August 2008. Her current work includes validation and verification of LandScan USA data, GIS modeling of ticket holders at sporting events, and imagery analysis and data collection to support several other projects.
While at the University of Tennessee, Mrs. Moehl worked as a research assistant in the Geography Department’s Laboratory of Paleoenvironmental Research.
Mrs. Moehl is interested in using geographic information science to study, among other things, the effects of special events on populations.
