Research Experience and Interests
Bradley is a Post Bachelor’s Research Associate with the Geographic Information Science and Technology Group. His current work involves creating and updating Population Density Tables. His research interests include human/environment interaction, human geography, and urbanization.
Previously, Bradley worked as an intern with the NASA DEVELOP program at Marshall Space Flight Center. His work involved using NASA Earth Observing System (EOS) to address questions of environmental concern. He also worked for the Earth System Science Department at the University of Alabama in Huntsville on a collaborative research project with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. This project utilized historical aerial photographs and satellite imagery to map land use and land cover change in the Panama Canal Zone. Prior to beginning this research, Bradley worked as an intern at the Water Center for the Humid Tropics of Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC) in Panama City, Panama. Bradley has also worked in the nonprofit sector with the Land Trust of North Alabama.
