Research Focus:

Current research specializes in Semantic Knowledge Integration Frameworks and their applications to Earth Sciences. I am the primary designer for semantics search tool – Noesis. I am a major contributor in the research and development of Earth Science Markup Language, an XML based data interchange standard used by NASA. My research also spans multi-agent systems and datamining tools for computational grids and cluster environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Design and develop frameworks for Semantic metadata integration.
  • Design and develop Semantic enabled Search Engines.
  • Design and develop collaborative frameworks for distributed environments.  
  • Design and develop distributed architectures involving web-services and grid-services.
  • Develop data-mining tools for computational grid and cluster environments.
  • Design and develop metadata representation models for Science data systems.
  • Design and develop multi-agent distributed applications for wireless sensor networks.
  • Expert in inference engines ( Pellet, RACER and Jena) and query languages (Hands on experience with triple-stores (ARC, Oracle and RDFStore)
