Population Distribution and Dynamics

Population Distribution and Dynamics

Research in this area includes algorithm and model development relating to high resolution spatiotemporal mapping of population, socio-economic indices, and population-infrastructure dependencies. Our research incorporates developments of a variety of data modeling, disparate data integration, and pattern recognition techniques, and complex statistical analysis of demographic data using scalable computing.  National and global priority areas addressed include estimating population at risk, human terrain modeling, social dynamics, and transportation and energy systems analysis.
