- The fusion community is now preparing for ITER
equipment procurements. What codes and standards will
be invoked, given ITER's nuclear and safety
considerations and its international character? There
seem to be some clear answers but also some
uncertainty. With the site decision behind us, one
major uncertainty is eliminated and it should now be
possible to make more rapid progress.
