Topics
This conference will address applications of radio
frequency (rf) fields to plasma heating, current drive, and MHD
control in plasmas. Contributions are also encouraged in the areas of
basic rf wave physics, rf sources, rf materials processing,
ionospheric and astrophysical rf interactions, etc. Examples of
topics to be included are the launching, propogation, and absorption
of rf energy in various frequency ranges (Alfven to electron
cyclotron) as these topics relate to heating, confinement, plasma
production, plasma processing, plasma diagnostics, and current
generation. Papers on the technical aspects of rf heating are
welcome.
