A CRADA between ORNL and its partners from private industry or academia allows for effective, equitable sharing of benefits and resources. CRADAs allow contributors to collaborate on ideas, share costs, and pool their R&D results to bring a specific technology to the marketplace.

Each partner contributes to the research project. ORNL can provide personnel, facilities, equipment, or other nonmonetary resources;and nonfederal participants may provide funds, personnel, equipment, or other resources to conduct R&D that is consistent with DOE's mission.
